The traditional Easter Egg Hunt, held on Easter Sunday, was a huge success with around 350 children joining in the fun. Volunteers placed egg tokens around Sir James McCusker Park for children to find and collect. At first it was quite a frenzy but as time progressed a steady, but orderly line of children with a complete set of tokens presented themselves at the egg collection point for their bag of Easter goodies.
It was a pleasure to see the many parents who supervised their children and joined in conversation with their neighbours and other members of our Iluka community. Children were entertained by the Easter Bunny and had great fun meeting their four legged friends in the animal farm.
A very warm thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who helped to make this year's adventure a great success.
